The “Streamline Mini LED Turn Signal” features a compact body measuring 42mm wide, 14mm high, and 18mm deep, and is equipped with five high-brightness LEDs. Special Parts Takegawa will be releasing the product in October.
The turn signal body features a classic oval design with a textured surface. It complements any vehicle style, from sports models to tourers and cruisers, adding a stylish touch. The body’s threads are hollow M8 bolts with a 1.25 thread pitch and 20mm thread length, making them highly versatile and suitable for installation on any vehicle. The connecting cord is routed through the hollow bolt, eliminating any exposed cords and creating a clean look even after installation. The body is made of lightweight resin and features a rubber mount, making it durable and resistant to breakage even when in contact with objects while parking, and vibrations while driving.
The five high-brightness LEDs ensure clear visibility not only at night but also during the day. Despite their high brightness, they consume only about 1.0W per light (at 12V), so they don’t put a strain on the battery. The connection cord is also long at about 340mm, so it can be connected even in places far away from the turn signal coupler. The tip of the cord uses the standard φ3.5mm connector. The turn signal lenses are a bold smoked type.
The TAKEGAWA logo is laser marked on the body of the turn signal.
There are strict safety standards for motorcycle turn signals, and for vehicles manufactured after 2005, standards are also set for the position and size of the light-emitting surface. As a result, small turn signals may not pass vehicle inspections, but the Streamline Mini LED turn signals have obtained the E mark, which complies with European ECE regulations, so if they are installed in the same position as the originals, they will pass vehicle inspections without any problems.
The product is available in a universal type that can be installed on any vehicle, as well as vehicle-specific models that come with dedicated connection cords and mounts (Z125PRO, D-Tracker 125 & KLX125, XSR125, CRF250L & CRF250M, MT-125, Ape50/100 & Monkey 50 & Gorilla, YZF-R125, GROM).
