Triumph TF450-X (New)… 1,239,000 yen (including 10% consumption tax)
The culmination of racing development technology applied to the 450cc class
Triumph Motorcycles has announced that it will add the new TF 450-X to its off-road lineup in 2026. This production model follows on from last year’s special edition TF 450-RC, which debuted in the 450 class, and is updated with the latest technology introduced in the TF 250-X.
The new TF 450-X delivers Supercross and MXGP podium-winning race-developed performance in production specification, developed and tested to deliver performance, control and reliability for riders of all levels.
Maximum output of 62.4ps! Best-in-class power-to-weight ratio
The engine is a 450cc four-stroke single-cylinder that produces a maximum output of 62.4ps at 9,500rpm. Combined with a lightweight body weighing just 108.3kg, it achieves both best-in-class power output and an excellent power-to-weight ratio.
The engine is equipped with König forged aluminum pistons for strength and durability at high RPM. Del West titanium valves are ultra-lightweight, contributing to high RPM and improved response. DLC-coated rocker arms and cams reduce friction, ensuring durability and smooth operation at high loads.
Optimized fuel and intake systems for improved response
The fuel and intake system combines a Dell’Orto 44mm throttle body with a Keihin injector to maximize fuel atomization. The airbox and silencer first used on the TF 450-RC are inherited, improving intake flow and response while complying with FIM/AMA noise regulations.
Newly designed clutch improves durability and feel
To improve durability and clutch operation in extreme racing environments, a newly designed Exedy clutch hub and new clutch springs are used. The high-capacity Exedy clutch hub increases torque capacity and provides smoother, more stable engagement.
The steel clutch basket and Brembo hydraulic clutch provide consistent actuation, and new bellows clutch springs provide precise actuation. The standard quickshifter allows clutchless upshifts from 2nd to 5th gears.
New gearbox selector
The chassis features retuned engine mounts and a new gearbox selector that improves gear selection and positive engagement, significantly improving the precision and confidence of shifting.
Unique aluminum spine frame achieves both light weight and rigidity
The TF 450-X continues to use Triumph’s unique aluminium spine frame (ultra-light twin cradle structure), which delivers an optimal balance of rigidity and flex for confident handling.
The hydroformed swingarm and linkage mechanism developed from racing knowledge contribute to weight reduction and maximized grip and traction, resulting in excellent rear grip and suspension performance.
KYB suspension for pro-level performance
The KYB setup is derived from the RC Edition and has been developed to improve mid-range damping control, chassis balance, and cornering stability, while also being tuned to deliver pro-level performance on big jumps and rhythm sections.
The 48mm KYB AOS coil spring fork and 3-way adjustable piggyback shock provide consistent damping, controlled footholds and improved front-end feel over a wide range of surfaces.
Electronic control system makes racing equipment standard
The TF 450-X comes standard with electronic control systems optimized for racing, including launch control, traction control, quick shifter, and dual engine maps. It comes equipped with all the equipment a racer needs, so you can take it to the races without any additional preparation.
The electronic control system is equipped with launch control, traction control, and two engine maps. Modes can be switched using a switch on the handlebars or the optional MX Tune Pro app, and up to 10 additional maps can be unlocked when combined with the accessory engine management unit.
Premium components as standard
It comes standard with premium components such as Brembo brakes, KYB suspension, ProTaper handlebars, and DID wheels. The Brembo brakes, combined with Galfer discs, provide powerful and stable stopping power.
Lightweight DID DirtStar 7000 series aluminium rims are fitted with Pirelli MX32 (mid-soft) tyres for excellent grip and durability, with optional disc guards available for extreme conditions.
New graphics for 2026 create a striking image
The exterior features new graphics for 2026, featuring in-mold decals in the striking “Triumph Performance Yellow,” creating a design that strongly emphasizes Triumph’s racing image.
Enhance your competitive edge with competition accessories
In addition to the standard equipment, Triumph has partnered with leading brands to create a range of exclusive competition accessories that further enhance performance and competitiveness.
Key accessories include an Akrapovič full titanium exhaust system, an XTrig holeshot device, an Athena LC-GPA launch control module, an MX Tune Pro Wi-Fi module, a performance gripper seat and seat cover, and an exterior replacement kit.
Sales will begin on September 24th at specialized dealers.

The manufacturer’s suggested retail price for the new TF 450-X is 1,239,000 yen (including 10% consumption tax). Sales will begin on September 24, 2025 at authorized motocross dealers nationwide (Triumph Tokyo Bay, Triumph Hamamatsu, Triumph Fukuoka, and Triumph Kagoshima).
